Water Heater Service & Maintenance
It is recommended that you flush your tank once a year to prevent sediment build up on the bottom of your tank which may lead to a shortened lifespan of your equipment. Depending on where you live and the hardness or softness of your water scaling and sediment buildup per household will vary greatly. It is also good practice to check the integrity of the anode rods annually. This information as well as the process to flush your tank can be found in the product literature as well as online. Tank less (On Demand) Water Heating
If you have a Tank less or On Demand water heating system, such as a Rinnai or Rheem it is very important to have your equipment serviced annually. The unit will need to be flushed with a cleaning solution as well as a visual inspection of the screens to ensure no debris buildup is present. At this time our technician will also do a complete check of the equipment ensuring things like gas pressures, venting integrity, and general equipment condition are acceptable.
